Robert.

I met Robert when I was 17. I had come down to Weymouth with my friend Chloe to visit another friend of ours Mark who had moved down a couple years previous.
Mark intrudced us to all his college friends and one of his friends Colin had moved from London a few years earlier. The same weekend we first came down Colin's brother Robert from London was visiting his family nr Dorchester so we all hung out together.
We all had such a laugh, didnt really do much to be honest, just did what young people did in Weymouth then hung around the sea front in the cars, eating laughing and generally messing around.
We went down another couple of times that Summer of 94 and everytime Robert was there from London. Never really thought anything about it.
In the October I met Giles in Walsall and started dating him. I thought it was love and was heartbroken when he finished with me in the May. Thought my whole world had finished, so I ran off to Weymouth again that VE weekend. Robert wasnt there that time and when I mentioned it to Mark that I thought Robert was alway there, that was when Mark let the cat out of the bag and told me Robert only really came down when he knew I was coming. Mmmmmmm that got me wondering why. to be continued..

Why?

Drama follows me around. I don’t ask for it, I don’t look for it but it is always there and always gives me trouble. Even when I was a baby I caused drama, nothing went or goes easily for me. The people around me think it’s funny, they think its just Ruby that’s the way it goes, but obviously I cause drama and invert ably drama is caused for them. My poor husband has long since put up with it and taken it has a cause of being with me. But I so wish for a quiet life sometimes.

Things have happened in my life that you wouldn’t get in a soap storyline, the viewers would think too far fetched for that to happened, but over the next few months I am going to try and explain things to you, write them all down and believe me it will all be true.
